Trollhunters Ep13 The Battle of Two Bridges

One of the things that I love about this show, is that even when things are really serious, they still make it funny. In this scene, Toby, Aaarrrgghh and Draal burst in, ready to fight to stop the bridge from being opened. Every character is making an effort to be really serious, and the Toby accidentally starts playing this weird elevator music and everyone just looks at each other awkwardly. It was a little cliche, but who cares it was beautiful.

Oooooohhh! Did you all see that? Tell me you saw that! Well, you can’t help it because I’ve posted the picture. Do you know what this is? This is a perfect example of teenaged rebellion. This male human, has just dealt a severe blow to a rather sensitive region of his changeling educator. In other words, Toby’s just jammed a baseball bat in between the legs of his history teacher. Daaaaayyyymmmm!

Looks like Aaarrrgghh’s been forced to put his oath of peace on hold for a while. While it’s kind of unfortunate that he’s been forced to temporarily give up being a pacifist, it’s probably a good thing. Hear me out. We’re only halfway through the season, which means there’s way worse battles to come. Aaarrrgghh’s bigger than nearly all of the enemies they’ve faced so far, I think his physical strength and fighting abilities are going to be really handy.

Ewww! Seriously, Draal? You were in a relationship with that? Dude, you must’ve been extremely desperate to fall in love with this thing. I’m not even one hundred percent sure what it’s supposed to be. I mean, I know it’s a changeling but it’s got claws and hooves, and the proportions are all weird. And that face. Not even a mother could love that.

Wow! Jim actually did it! He finally managed to kill Bular. I’m not really sure what else to say, I’m in shock. It’s only halfway through the season, and we’ve just lost one of the main antagonists. Umm, now what?

Aww, what a sweet group hug! I don’t think we’ve seen one of those yet, at least not with the whole gang. It’s a pity about Draal’s arm though. At least he doesn’t seem to bothered about it right at the moment. You may notice that this isn’t the conventional group hug, as technically, it is just the group being hugged. Sorry, I’m spoiling the moment aren’t I.

Seriously? How many times does this guy need to be killed? Why can’t he just get over it and move on like everybody else? He’s already been turned into stone and dropped into a canal. He should be a drowned statue, but nooo, his right side just has to come back to life again. Bular, do you have any idea how annoying you are?

What an adorable bromance these two have. Honestly, Jim and Toby’s friendship is so unrealistic, but it’s still so cute. Mostly teenaged boys are always trying to look cool around each other with all the fist bumps and pretending not to have emotions. They normally can’t even hug properly, without slapping each other on the back. These two cartoons are like a pair of brothers, with absolutely no family resemblance.

Why does this episode feel like a finale to me? Maybe it’s just because so much happens. Basically the whole episode, is just everyone fighting. When all the fighting’s finished, there’s a huge celebration, which is usually what happens in final episodes. Oh yeah, and Jim kisses Claire, but who cares about that. Stay awesome and keep watching cartoons, Toonbiter out!
